How we work

Clear ownership, from the first workshop to daily operations.

Our delivery process covers strategy, architecture, design, development, testing, implementation and ongoing operation. One team stays responsible throughout, so decisions made early are carried into the code, the infrastructure and the runbooks.

The delivery process

Seven stages, one accountable team.

  1. Strategy

We start with the business requirement, not the technology. Workshops with the people who run the process today, an assessment of the current environment and an agreed definition of success.

    Deliverables
    • Requirements document
    • Current-state assessment
    • Options and recommendation
  2. Architecture and design

Systems, interfaces, data ownership, hosting and security requirements are designed together and written down, including the trade-offs behind each decision.

    Deliverables
    • Target architecture
    • Integration and data design
    • Security and hosting requirements
  3. Development and testing

Software is built in short increments against the documented requirements, with automated tests running in a pipeline and reviews at each step.

    Deliverables
    • Working software in increments
    • Automated test suites
    • Review and acceptance records
  4. Integration

New capabilities are connected to the systems you already run through documented interface contracts, with monitoring and reconciliation in place before go-live.

    Deliverables
    • Interface contracts
    • Integration monitoring
    • Data reconciliation checks
  5. Implementation and deployment

Environments are defined as code and deployed through pipelines. Cut-over plans, rollback procedures and go-live criteria are agreed with your stakeholders.

    Deliverables
    • Infrastructure as code
    • Cut-over and rollback plan
    • Go-live checklist
  6. Training

Employees are trained for their roles, documentation is written for the people who will use and maintain the solution, and feedback channels are opened.

    Deliverables
    • Role-based training
    • User and operations documentation
    • Adoption measures
  7. Operation and improvement

The same team maintains, supports and improves the solution under documented procedures and agreed response times, with monthly reporting.

    Deliverables
    • Runbooks and procedures
    • Response-time agreement
    • Monthly service report and backlog
Three perspectives

Processes, systems and people, considered together.

  • Processes

We map the work a solution must support before choosing technology, so software fits the way your organisation operates and the outcome can be measured.

  • Systems

ERP, CRM, document stores and cloud services are connected so information flows without re-entry, and the whole is operated as one environment.

  • People

Training, documentation and support are planned from the start, so new systems are used rather than installed, and keep improving after go-live.

Working principles

What stays constant in every engagement.

  • Documented decisions

Every significant choice records the options considered and the reasons for the outcome, so knowledge survives changes in staff on both sides.

  • Knowledge transfer as a deliverable

Documentation, training and shadowing are scoped and scheduled like any other work item, not left to the end of the project.

  • Security from the first design

Hosting location, access controls, security testing and operational procedures are agreed in the architecture phase according to your requirements.

  • Clear responsibilities

Who owns each system, interface and procedure is written down, including where responsibilities sit with your teams or other suppliers.

Engagement models

Focused implementation or enterprise programme.

We support both focused implementations and broader enterprise programmes. A focused implementation has a defined scope, dates and acceptance criteria. A programme runs several connected workstreams under one architecture and one accountable team, phased so the business keeps operating throughout.

In both cases the route into operation is planned from the start: who runs the solution, under which procedures, with which response times. Where your teams take over, we hand over with documentation and training rather than a final invoice.
